泰山是五嶽中的東嶽，別名「岱嶽」，位在山東省泰安縣北。「千岱」比喻有千座泰山，
本館期望將來能與數千位像泰山一樣令人景仰的藝術大師合作，
使其作品在千岱博物館展出，讓來自世界各地愛好藝術的朋友們有機會目睹其風采。
這是我們的目標，藉由這個目標，將雕刻藝術推廣、發揚。
千岱の意義
「泰山」は五つの山岳の中の東山です。別名は「岱嶽」で中国の山東省の泰安県の北にあります。
「千岱」は千ほどの「泰山」があるという喩えで、将来本館は人に尊敬される数多くの芸術家の作品がうちの博物館で展示できるのを目標として、彫刻芸術を広めていこうと思っております。
The meanings of “Chien Dai”
Mount Tai is the Eastern Mountain in the Five Great Mountains of China, another name Mount Dai located in the north of the county of Tai-An county of Shan-Dong province. “Chien Dai” means thousands of Mount Tai. The meaning here is to wish the museum can collaborate with thousand of masters whose works and manners like mountains to be glorify by people to show their works in the museum. This is our target and we want to extend and spread the wood carving art with this target.
